New leader for Mindshare Sri Lanka
Mindshare recently promoted Sabry Haniz to replace Nelson Monteiro as
the Leader for its Sri Lanka office, who left the company in early July.
Prior to Sabry's promotion, he was a Partner in the Client Leadership
division. His clients included Tigo, HSBC, Pepsi, ICI/AkzoNobel, Nokia,
Singapore Airlines, Ceat, Holcim, Ferrero Rocher, Fuji, Union Assurance
and Sony Ericsson. Besides handling client relationships, he was also
responsible for new business development, media owner relationships and
channel negotiations.
Sabry is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) and
has been in the media industry for the past 13 years , including JWT and
subsequently Mindshare. He has contributed immensely to the growth and
reputation of Mindshare Sri Lanka and has been instrumental in some of
the award winning work which was recognized internationally and locally.
Two such examples are the HSBC Lifestyle Show and the Reborn 'Get
Stolen' campaigns.
"My appointment is to help the team achieve the goal of maintaining
the lead position of Mindshare in Sri Lanka and to broaden the high
value added services to our clients to become their true strategic
partner", said Sabry.
