Union Assurance goes to Point Pedro

The Northern Region has taken the limelight and most organizations are putting their resources behind in making there presences felt in the north. Union Assurance entered the Northern market in 2002, and was the first private sector insurer to open operations in Jaffna and this move was duly recognized to be a wise investment when the Jaffna branch office was bestowed with the best regional office award at the Union Assurance Annual Awards 2005.

The Jaffna branch houses over 70 staff members recording a significant momentum in life and general insurance operations. General Manager Marketing Distribution Rukman Weerarathne said.

"We're looking forward to expanding our branch network in the heart of growing areas of the island."
