Ramazan program at Nawala Jummah Masjid - 2009

A program to mark Ramazan has been organised by M.H.A. Haniffa Chief Trustee of the Nawala Jummah Masjid.

Tharaveeys prayers will be conduced daily during the month of Ramazan commencing at 8.15 p.m. by Hafiz M.A.M. Asrar and Hafiz M.M. Fashna.

Vithr prayers will be conducted by Mowlavi M.B.M. Mubarak and Mowlavi M.T. Hillurudeen.

Hisbu recital of the Holy Quran will commence immediately after Vithr prayers.

On Saturdays and Sundays, special religious lectures are organised by eminent Mowlavies and Ulamas after Vithr prayers.

Thaubah and Zikr Majilis will be conducted on 3rd, 10th and 27th days of Ramazan nights after Vithr prayers by Mowlavi Mafaz (Nularie).

On 17th day of Ramazan Badr Mowlool will be recited by Mowlavi Abdul Hameed (Bahagi).

On 27 Ramazan Lailathul Kadir program is organised and will continue with a special "Duah" recited at the end.

Katthamul Quran will be recited in the name of Prophet Mohammed (Sal). Arrangements have been made for women to attend Tharaveeya prayers and religious activities.

Arrangements are made to conduct eminent Quries from Egypt, Iran and Libya to visit Al Masjidul Badriyeen, Nawala Jummah Mosque to recite Quirath. The World Islamic Call Society Colombo had agreed to send the Quri from Libyan Arab Jamahiriyya on September 1, 2009.
