Asian Paints workshop for architects
Sri Lankan architects recently had an opportunity to get a 'hands-on'
experience with a new special effects decorative paint and unleash their
creativity at a workshop conducted by Asian Paints, the Sri Lankan unit
of the India-based multinational coatings company.

It was organized by the Professional Affairs Board of the Sri Lanka
Institute of Architects (SLIA) to provide members an opportunity to
update their knowledge on the latest development in paint manufacture
and local and international trends.
In addition, a group of 75 architects had a fun-filled experience
with 'Royale Play', Asian Paint's new special effects paint that enables
users to create their own designs with unique textures, patterns and
colours.
Asian Paints 'Royale Play' and 'Royale Play Matallics', a collection
of innovative and ready-to-use special effects finishes for interior
walls are used to create many eye catching effects and give walls a
distinctive look and feel.

Pulikottil said the company welcomed its selection to sponsor this
workshop and that the company was happy to provide participants a chance
to learn about the new materials and techniques used in paint
manufacture. Asian Paints Lanka entered the Sri Lankan market in 1999
and was the first ever overseas acquisition of Asian Paints, one of
India's most respected multinationals with international operations in
27 countries. |
