Janadhipathi BV Schools Hockey champs

Janadhipathi Balika Vidyalaya was declared joint champions in the under 13 Sri Lanka Schools Hockey tournament with Vishaka Vidyalaya Colombo which was concluded recently at St. Benedict’s College grounds, Colombo.

This tournament was conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Hockey Association and organized by the Colombo Schools Hockey Committee. District Hockey champions, Runner up and Second Runner up teams participated in this all island tournament.

All together 14 teams took part. Janadhipathi girl’s team were skippered by Methni Chathurya Bandara and ably assisted by Emesha Lakshani, Sri Lanka Senior National Hockey Coach A.N. Perera coached the champions team.
