Easy for Pakistan 'A

The touring Pakistan 'A' team clinched the series one nil when they trounced Sri Lanka 'A' by eight wickets in the second four-day unofficial Test match concluded at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo yesterday. Pakistan 'A' wrapped up the game during the first session as they reached their target of 68 runs from 27 overs. They of course lost two wickets in one over with Muthumudalige Pushpakumara striking twice following his heroics with the bat in the second innings.

However opener Umar Amin made a useful 34 not out with three boundaries and together with Azar Ali the pair took their side towards their target quite convincingly. The two teams will now begin a five match one day series with the opening fixture scheduled for Thursday at the Police Park.

The second one day will be worked off on August 22 at the R. Premadasa Stadium, third one day on August 24 at the NCC ground, fourth one day on August 26 at the Colts CC ground and the fifth one day on August 28 at the P. Saravanamuttu Oval.
