Two new teledramas for Rupavahini

Two new teledramas, Diya Matha Ruwa and Liyanagala Malhave joined the queue to be telecast on Rupavahini. Premakumara Jayawardena's Diya Matha Ruwa is based on a series of strange incidents which take place at an old mansion which is occupied by four individuals.

The age old mansion which was once a lively and prosperous dwelling has now became a bleak place which anyone hardly visits. However there is a mysterious lure in the air as the inhabitants become aware of certain unexplainable happenings taking place in the house. After getting a whiff of a treasure trove which lies hidden in the premises, the four embark on a competition to get the wealth into their hands.

Thumindu Dodamthan- na, Wasanthi Chathurani, Mahendra Perera, Athula Liyanage, Athula Pathirana, Palitha Perera, Siril Wickramage, Yananga Gunawardena, Dayadeva Edirisinghe, Gayana Sudharshini, Gamini Jayalath, Pumi Botheju and others make up the cast of the teledrma which took off on Rupavahini on July 31.

The music is by Deshaka Sampath. The story and script is by Mahesh Rathsara Maddumarachchi. Sisira Vanninayake is the art director, Priyantha Ishwara is the make up artist and Manoj Ranasinghe is the cameraman. Somadasa Maldeniya is the assistant director of Diya Matha Ruwa while Anura Gambeerarachchi is the production manager.

The teledrama is produced by Ben Films on behalf of Bennett Ratnayake and is telecasting on Fridays at 8.35 p.m.

Nimal Ratnayake's Liyagala Mal is explores a touching theme of humane relationships. Manjula Thilini, Janaka Kumbukage, Vinoja Nilantha, Asoka Peries, Janith Wickramage, Ruwanthi Mangala, Buddhadasa Vithanarachchi and Suvinitha Weerasinghe take on significant roles in the teledrama which is telecast on Thursdays at 8.35 p.m.

Gayan Ganakadara is the music director of Liyagala Mal which is scripted by Gamini Wijewardena.
