Old Kingswoodians HA to be revived

Kingswood College, Kandy, which was once a big force at hockey in the hill capital is making effort to revive the Old Kingswoodians Hockey Association to give this sports a big boost in the school.

A meeting in this connection will be held at the Kingswood College Hall on Saturday - August 1st at 3 p.m. All past hockey players are kindly requested to be present.

In the past Kingswood College had produced great hockey players of the calibre of Reza Jumar, Iqbal Jumar, Derrick Harvey, Freddy White, and in the recent past Diliepa Sumanaratne, Upul Sumanasekera, Arooz Saleem who coached the champion Kingswood side in the nineties and is also a grade one hockey umpire.
