The Navy conducting search operation has recovered LTTE military hardware items in Kuttumurichchikulam, Kadirveli on Sunday.

Navy spokesman Captain D.K.P. Dassanayake said acting on information naval troops have uncovered 15 I-com sets, a telephone, a 'Couger' hand mike, a multimeter, a vehicle mounted antennae, a GPS, two MG micro hand mikes, 12 PRC 1077 hand sets and three base station sets.

"These items were hidden in a jungle in the Kuttumurichchikulam area", he added.
