Lyceum, Wattala under 19 cricket champions

The Final of the Inter International Schools under 19 Cricket Tournament 2009 organized by the Gateway College, Colombo was held recently at Shalika grounds Colombo.

Thirteen International Schools participated in this tournament Lyceum International School, Wattala won the Tournament and they scored 162 runs for 9 wickets in 40 overs while Lyceum International School, Nugegoda scored, only 157 for 9 wickets in 40 overs.

Lyceum International School, Wattala - 162 runs for 9 wickets in 40 overs Sachithra Prabushitha, 35, Vivin Nadesen 32 and Nishan Perera 3/22, Aswin Hanifa 2/24. Lyceum International School, Nugegoda - 157 runs for 9 wickets in 40 overs. Mohanmed Shezaad - 42, Amila Premasara - 31 and Jinal Pothupitiya 4/25.
