Committee to look into school text books

The school principals islandwide were directed to form a committee for each school to look into the mistakes of school text books. The Education Publications Department in a circular said these committees should refer to the shortcomings and mistakes in the school text books to the Educational Publications Department.

The Commissioner General of the Education Publications Department also entertains suggestions by these committees to avoid mistakes and shortcomings.

According to the Department's spokesman, the response from schools will help supply high quality school text books to the students. The principals were also directed that this committee should comprise teachers representing each subject.
