Army edge out Air Force

Sri Lanka Army pulled off a thrilling 18 points to 15 points victory over Sri Lanka Air Force Sports Club in their SLRFU Caltex Inter Club 'A' Division League rugby tournament match worked off at Ratmalana yesterday. The winners collected their points from one goal, one try and two penalties after having led 13-10 at half time. The Airmen responded with one goal, one try and one penalty.

M. Saliya and S. Perera scored a try each for Army SC with Kapila Knowlton converting one try and also put over two penalties. P. Kurukulasuriya and K. Ratnayake did the scoring for Air Force SC with Charith Seneviratne doing the conversions.
