A monk, 34, and another suspect was arrested for allegedly abusing underage children in Meekirigala, Avissawella, Police Spokesman SSP Ranjith Gunasekera said. "They have abused five girls and a boy aged between 11 and 13," he added.

The alleged suspects were to be produced before the Avissawella Magistrate today.
