Applications called for:
Post of Principal, Ananda College
Dharma Sri ABEYRATNE
The Ministry of Education has called applications for the post of
Principal, Ananda College, Colombo, from officers in the Sri Lanka
Education Administrative Service (SLEAS) Grades I, II and III.
The post has remained vacant for a long time since the interdiction
of the former Principal following a Court case.
The Principal was interdicted by the Ministry of Education as the
Attorney General had taken a legal action against him after receiving a
complaint that he has accepted a bribe for Year One admission. D. M. L.
P. Dissanayake has been acting in the capacity since then.
The closing date for applications is July 4, the Education Ministry
sources said.
