Foreign Minister visits China to strengthen bilateral ties

Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama commenced a four day visit to China from July 1, on an invitation for bilateral consultations with Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi. Minister Bogollagama will pay a courtesy call on the Vice President of China. He will also call on Vice Premier Li Ke Qiang. During his visit Minister Bogollagama is scheduled to speak on "Post conflict Sri Lanka and the Way ahead" at the prestigious China Institute of International Studies (CIIS).

The Foreign Minister will meet the business community and the Sri Lankan expatriate community in china during his visit.
