Kumari responsible for only record on final day
The only highlight on the final day of the 40th
John Tarbat National Junior Athletic Championship was setting of a
new record for the under 15 girls Putt Shot by C. G. K. Kumari of
Galewala Central. Kumari heaved the iron ball to a distance of 8.97
m to erase the existing record 8.50 m set by Punsara Jayalath,
Musaeus College Colombo last year.
