Kandy SC head points table

Kandy Sports Club which is aiming to clinch the Caltex 'A' Division League Rugby Title for a record ninth successive year are heading the points table with 18 points from four outings.

CR and FC which is making a determined effort to regain the league title which they last won in 1998 are lying in second place also wick 18 points in four games having scored one try less than Kandy SC.

The Sri Lanka Army which is enjoying one of their best seasons in recent years have climbed upto third place after their stunning 21-12 win over CH and FC. The soldiers who have notched up three victories have obtained 12 points.

The formidable CH and FC which began the season with two smashing wins over Police (39-15) and Havelocks (56-6) have slipped to fourth position after suffering two successive defeats at the hands of Navy and Army.
