PMSF scholarships

The Parent Memorial Scholarship Foundation (PMSF) calls applications from the students who are economically disadvantaged but currently succeeded in entering to the Universities with the results of 2008 (A/L) Examination.Self-prepared applications containing with bio-data should be sent on or before June 15, 2009 together with the following documents.

1. G.C.E. (A/L) - 2008 Examination results certified by the Principal.

2. A letter from Grama Sevaka certifying the genuine situation of the family, including the number of family members, monthly income of them and the source of income, including 'Samurdhi'.... etc

3. A testimonial from the chief of the religious institute of the village in which the applicant is permanently resided.

4. The self-prepared application should be contained with full name, address, date of birth, NIC Number, telephone numbers (self/relative's/neighbour's), certified results of G.C.E. (O/L) exam, genuine details of family with the number of family members and their occupations and the reason for applying for these scholarships.

N.B. A certified letter issued by the faculty, proving that he/she has been selected to the relevant stream of studies at the University is also to be submitted by the applicant immediately after registration as a University student. All applications should be sent before June 15, 2009 to:-

Selected applicants will be awarded Rs. 1,000 per month during the first year of the University Studies.
