$ 7m investment in Malabe:
Suntel expands IDC facilities
Suntel launched its new internet data centre, a $ 7 million facility
which can safeguard customers valuable data, do business continuity
planning and provide hosted solutions in Malabe. This is the second such
facility Suntel has developed due to the rapid growth of business from
its corporate and business customers.
Suntel Ltd, a leader in corporate and business telecommunication
services launched its new Internet Data Centre at a function recently.
Directors from Suntel’s parent company and Vice Chairman of Suntel,
Dinesh Ambani were also present.
Managing Director of Suntel Jeremy Huxtable said, “Firstly let me
thank our customers whose support enables us to continue to invest in
new products and services.
This support gives us confidence to make investments in new
technologies and services despite the current difficult economic
environment.
The success of our first facility has made the decision to invest
much easier. Our promise is that we will continue to deliver world-class
telecommunication services to enable corporate Sri Lanka to face global
challenges.
This is particularly important at this historic moment in Sri Lanka’s
history with the country united and free from conflict and terrorism.
