Chess Nationals from tomorrow

The Sri Lanka National men's and women's Chess Championship will be held from June 5 - 14 at the Engiring institute, Pelawatte Battaramulla. The tournament will be consist of 13 round and will be a round robin event.

There will be only one game tomorrow and two games will be held on all other days. Twenty eight men and women participants will vie for honours this year while last year's champions Athula Razel (Men) and Vineetha Wijesuriya (Women) will also compete this year and will pose a big threat to other competitors.
