Shehan shines in Colombo 'B' win

Colombo South 'B' beat Ratnapura district by a 297 runs in their under 19 inter-district cricket tournament - 2009 organised by Sri Lanka Cricket and played at Moratu Vidyalaya ground. Colombo 'B' taking the first lease made 421 for 8 in their allotted 48 overs with Shehan Jayasuriya 153 runs (19 fours and six sixes) and Nuwan Darshana 115 (fourteen fours and five sixes) to put on 247 runs for the second wicket.

In reply the visitors were bowled out for a paltry 124 runs in 28 overs. Shehan Jayasuriya ripped through the Ratnapura batting line up capturing 4 for 15 runs.
