Second school term ends August 7

The last day of the second school term has been postponed to August 7 by the Education Ministry. Accordingly, the second term of Sinhala and Tamil schools will end on Friday, August 7.

Earlier the Education Ministry had scheduled to end the second term on July 31, whilst the third term was to start on August 31. According to the new schedule the third term will commence on Monday, September 7, Education Ministry sources said.
