AAP celebrates fourth anniversary

The Academy for Administrative Professionals (AAP) celebrated their fourth year with a series of events.

The Awards Nite was held at Colombo Hilton recently, followed by the induction of the new members. Academic Advisor of the AAP Prof. Carlo Fonseka was the Chief Guest at this occasion.

Secretarial and English language students who have completed their studies received certificates and those who have excelled in studies received their awards. 50 new members were inducted.

Prof. Carlo Fonseka, Chief Guest, in his address reiterated the importance of Administrative Profession which carries greater responsibilities at present. A CEO heavily depends on his Executive Assistant at a time with the organisational structure being on par with the management and the staff.

Executive Director of the AAP Sunethra Jayaratne said that the growth of the AAP during the last four years has been remarkable. The launch of the exclusively designed Retirement Scheme for the AAPers, is another significant feature for administrative professionals.
