Over 15,500 A(H1N1) flu cases worldwide

The World Health Organization (WHO) says there are so far 15,510 cases of A(H1N1) flu confirmed in 53 countries.

Although the US hosts the largest number, Mexico is site of the most deaths. The pharmaceutical companies are developing a vaccine to determine via clinical trials if immunization will involve one or two shots and if there is standard biological response.

Massive doses should be ready in October but WHO Director Margaret Chan warned that the flu A(H1N1) virus is unpredictable.
