Religious ceremony to commemorate slain monks

A religious ceremony to commemorate the deaths of Venerable Hegoda Sri Indrasara Thera and 31 Buddhist monks who were killed by LTTE terrorists at Aranthalawa will be held at Widyananda Maha Piriwena, Ampara on June 01 and 02.

This ceremony will be marked with the ordaining of 31 movie novice and a Sanghikadhana on June 01 at the venue. Late Venerable Hegoda Sri Indrasara Thera's statue will also be unveiled at Aranthalwa on June 02.
