Malwatte Mahanayake Thera, 65

The Mahanayake of the Malwatte Chapter Most Ven. Thibbotuwawe Sri Siddhartha Sumangala Thera donated a house to a homeless family on Saturday to mark his 65th birthday on May 30.

T. Lantin Peiris from Neelawala Watta of Galaha estate received the Nayake Thera's donation. The Trustee of the historic Ridhee Vihara, Most Ven. Thibbotuwawe Buddharakkhita Mahanayake Thera was present on the occasion.

Sources at Dalada Maligawa said, the house was built at a cost of around Rs. 500,000 with the funds by Sri Siddhartha Sumangala Maanawa Sahayogitha Foundation.
