Lankan Baseballers in semis

Sri Lankan Baseballers participating in the 8th Asia Cup in Thailand came up with two good performances to enter the semi finals from group A Lankans who faced the host country Thailand in the opening game won it with a score line 3-1. In the second game they could not repeat the same performances and went down to Pakistan 1-9.

The third game in the same group the Lankans recorded a convincing victory over Malaysia 9-1 to book their berth in the semifinal which is scheduled for today will confront the Indonesia team. The second semi final will see the clash between Pakistan and Hong Kong. BP
