Trinco Poson perahera

The annual Poson perahera organised by the Jayasumanarama Maha Viharaya, Trincomalee will be held for the 91st successive year on June 8.

The Jayasumanaramaya is a hallowed place of worship patronised by people of all communities in Trincomalee and this year's perahera would be held on a grand scale to mark the re-unification of the country under a single flag through Mahinda Chinthana said Nation Building Minister and Trincomalee SLFP chief organiser Susantha Punchinilame in a press release issued yesterday.
