Wasantha Namaskara’s 50th exhibition of paintings ‘Perception Art
2009’ will be held at the Namaskara open art gallery, Attampitiya,
Bandarawela, from June 1 to 6. His latest collection of paintings is
based on the idea that most people are not what they seem to be at first
glance.
A person who seems sweet and sincere may be a snake under grass.

This outlook is similar to a death noose for it may not be danger to
perceive but once you get to know how it functions, it an object of
dread and evil.
Wasantha who had continuously been organizing art exhibitions on Poya
days each month will present his 51st exhibition of art at the Namaskara
art gallery, 45/7, Welagedara, Badulla, on May 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
He had named this event as Dye Konda, Anithya Saha Punsanda to
reflect upon the uncertainty of life and all the objects surrounding us.
