Donation of rugby balls to Police team

A consignment of internationally renowned "Gilbert" Rugby balls were donated to the Police Sports Club by Srimal Wickremasinghe domiciled in Ferndale, South Wales, London recently at the Police Headquarters.

Inspector General of Police Jayantha Wickremaratne accepting the donation from Srimal Wickremasinghe on behalf of the Police Sports Club thanked Wickremasinghe for his generous gift which will be used by Police rugby team.

The IGP handed over the consignment of "Gilbert rugby balls to Police Rugby Football Secretary Senior Superintendent of Police T.M.N. Hamid.

Police Sports Club Secretary, Senior SP Clement de Silva also participated at the ceremony at the Police Headquarters.
