SDB reduces interest rates

In response to the request made by President Mahinda Rajapaksa recently, Sanasa Development Bank (SDB) has decided to reduce the interest rates on lending by 2 per cent, Dr. P.A.Kiriwandeniya said in a press release.

The easing of the monetary policy stance of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka also helped the bank to reduce lending rates and the bank intends to actively participate in Government development work in the North and East during the months ahead.
