Victory belongs entire country

Minister of Education Susil Premjayantha while congratulating President Mahinda Rajapaksa and tri-forces for the victory over LTTE terrorism has said that this victory is not confined to one single party but it belongs to the entire country as well.

These ruthless terrorists entered into the 4th Eelam War over the issue of Mavil Aru water problem.

They closed this anicut depriving water to Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim civilians. President Mahinda Rajapaksa has overcome all the obstacles and won the war bringing new hope to the country. We must take this country forward now. We all must shed our religious and racial differences and unite together in this forward march.

I wish a prosperous country under the leadership of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
