Standard Chartered, Lanka Bell make payments easier
Standard Chartered Bank Sri Lanka has expanded its credit card
payment acceptance points to include all Lanka Bell outlets islandwide.

“This is yet another initiative in providing convenience to our
customers and we are glad that Lanka Bell partnered us in this. We have
been constantly expanding our network of payment acceptance points which
are convenient to our customers.
Now Standard Chartered Credit Cardholders can make their credit card
payments at any of the 62 Lanka Bell outlets available islandwide”
commented Head of Consumer Banking, Standard Chartered Bank Anirvan
Ghosh Dastidar.

outlets as payment acceptance points for Standard Chartered Credit
Cardholders, as its part of our strategy of expanding our portfolio of
value added services” said Head of Credit Control Collections, Lanka
Bell Ltd Mohamed Rusthum. Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card Payments
made at any Lanka Bell outlet before three pm on a bank working day will
be credited to customer credit card accounts by six pm on the same day.
Payments made after three pm on a bank working day will be credited
on the following bank working day by six pm.
Payments made on a bank holiday will be credited on the following
bank working day by six pm. A nominal fee of 0.75 percent of the payment
value or Rs. 10 (whichever is higher) will be charged as handling fee.
Customers can also make their payments via any of the Arpico
Supercentre/Superstore, and Keells Super outlets islandwide. Other
payment channels such as Standard Chartered Branches and the Standard
Chartered Bank ATMs also allow customers to deposit cash or cheques to
credit card accounts.
Cheques or cash can also be deposited at any of the cheque/cash
deposit boxes at the Standard Chartered Bank branches, as well as
through Commercial Bank Branches and all Mincom Centres.

gathered together to celebrate stepping into their fourth year of
profitable operation in a quiet but intimate ceremony at their offices
in Colombo 5.

“We have always been renowned for the work we created for our long

Ranmali receives Tefe certification

Ranmali Gunawardana, the first Sri Lankan to receive the Tefe
certificate for beauty culture and hair dressing at the Tefe College of
Australia, became the agent eligible to issue the Tefe certificate in
Sri Lanka.
Salon Ranmali with the Ministry of Vocational and Technical Training
began awarding N.V.Q certified diploma in beauty culture and hair
dressing under the institute of Tefe SL.
