Bonjour cinema moves to Kandy


A film which represented the children’s category during Bonjour Cinema which was held at BMICH in March.

Bonjour Cinema!, the film festival attributed to French speaking countries will take place at the Arts Theatre, University of Peradeniya starting from today (May 4) and will go on till May 7. This is a joint cultural event presented by the Consulate of Belgium, the High Commission of Canada and the Embassy of France.

It is organized by the Alliance Française de Kandy, the Arts Council and the Fine Arts Department, University of Peradeniya.

The festival which marked its sixth successful year at the BMICH recently offers a collection of films that represent the richness and the diversity of the cinema industries of the French speaking countries represented in Sri Lanka to the audience.
