People endorse President’s leadership

People in the country in one voice endorse the correct leadership of President Mahinda Rajapaksa without being deceived by the childish political propaganda carried out by opposition political parties.

This is the message the people in the Western Province have conveyed to the nation through the results of the recently concluded Western Provincial Council Election said Ruhuna University Chancellor Most Ven. Attudawe Sri Rahula Mahanayake Thera of the Sri Rohana Chapter of the Shyamopali Maha Nikaya commenting on the peoples’ verdict at the Western Provincial Council election.

The prelate said patriotism had also been the overriding concern of the masses rather than merely satisfying the stomach.

He said development should reach grassroot level if we were to ensure a secure future to the young generation.

The Mahinda Chintana program has properly addressed this issue, by planning for the country’s future.

The results of all Provincial Councils held so far proved that the people were in no mood to change the Rajapaksa Administration.
