A mandate to steer ahead development

UPFA General Secretary and Education Minister Susil Premajayantha said people have given a clear mandate to the Government to continue its people-friendly programs to steer ahead development. They have reiterated their stand.

The people's verdict at this election is a clear response to the various international forces attempting to intervene the country's internal affairs.

"The UNP has faced the biggest debacle in its history. People have rejected the unpatriotic policies of the JVP and the UNP at this election, the Minister said.
