Support Committee for the displaced

A Support Committee of lawyers has been formed to provide material necessities for Internally Displaced People.

The necessities have been listed as medicine, bottled water, dry foods, sarongs, trousers, sarees, blouses and undergarments. Those wishing to contribute could bring them to the Colombo High Court Premises on Monday, April 27 from 9.30 a.m.

The items should be new.

The convener Sarath Ekanayake, Attorney-at-Law said: "In manifestly honouring the true sense of the Right to Life, we move to support them materially. Please do join us."
