New Japanese Ambassador

Kunio Takahashi, has been appointed as the new Japanese Ambassador to Sri Lanka. Takahashi presented his credentials to President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday. Ambassador Takahashi succeeds Ambassador Kiyoshi Araki who left Sri Lanka in March.

Ambassador Takahashi is the twentieth Japanese Ambassador in Sri Lanka since diplomatic relations was established between the two countries in 1952.
