Beijing: Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said a new world, a multipolar world so much dreamt of is rising.

Chavez made his remarks in the airport on Tuesday, upon arriving from Tokyo on a three-day state visit to China, the last leg of his Asian tour that also took him to Qatar and Iran.

The Venezuelan president is expected to meet with Chinese President Hu Jintao at the Great Hall of the People tomorrow and with Vice President Xi Jinping on the last day of his visit Thursday.

Chavez is accompanied by Foreign Minister Nicolas Maduro and ministers of Energy, Tourism and Agriculture.
