Renton publishes book on tourism in Sinhala
Renton de Alwis has released a book on tourism in Sinhala titled Me
Ape Rata as an exposition of the present and the future of tourism in
Sri Lanka.
He recently exited from tourism administration where he held two
terms as Chairman of the Sri Lanka Tourist Board and another nine months
term as Chairman of the newly established Sri Lanka Tourism Development
Authority and the Tourism Promotions Bureau.
He has chosen to take the dialogue on what Sri Lanka's tourism future
should be for discussion with wider publics.
He thinks that there needs to be a critical examination of the
current process of reforms in the tourism sector and seeks wider
dialogue and interaction for its development in the future. |
