Subsidised fertiliser from SLFC

The Sri Lanka Fertilizer company has started issuing subsidised fertilizer to farmers for the forthcoming yala cultivation season.

Fertilizer stocks are now being issued through the company's 50 stores network countywide including the main store complexes at Hunupitiya and Polonnaruwa, said Fertilizer Company Chairman Buddhika Madihahewa.

He said the company will distribute 36,822 mt T.S.P. fertilizer, 32,250 mt. M.O.P. fertilizer and 101,745 mt urea for yala. The first ship 'Mr Panagia' bringing 22,805 mt urea is now discharging its cargo at the Colombo Port.

If there are any irregularities in the distribution of subsidised fertilizer, farmers should inform the company on mobile 077-3435406, 077-3435408 or 077-3435409
