Referee hit by coin as Cardiff held by Swansea

Honours were left even in the Welsh derby on Sunday as Cardiff claimed a last-minute 2-2 draw with Swansea in a Championship clash that saw referee Mike Dean cut by a coin thrown from home fans. Swansea wasted no time in getting off the mark through Nathan Dyer as Dave Jones' promotion hopefuls Cardiff struggled to cope with their bright attacks early on.

But Cardiff came into the game steadily and equalised in the second period when Michael Chopra took advantage of hesitant defending to score from close range.
