Two LTTE cadres arrested in Chennai

Four people, including two Tigers from Sri Lanka, were arrested in
Chennai on Saturday, Tamil Nadu Police said.
The four men were arrested from the southeastern suburb of
Thiruvanmiyur early in the morning and were being questioned by the Q
branch - the anti-extremism wing of the police, they said.
The four men were identified as Jayanthan, 27, Guhan, 24, Jayanathan,
29 and Babu, 29. It wasn’t immediately clear who the two Tigers were.
They were nabbed for their activities relating to the Liberation
Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), police said. |
