'Dragonball Evolution' to roll at Liberty
A young boy named Goku seeks out upon his grandfather's dying request
to find the great Master Roshi and gather all seven Dragon Balls (of
which he has one) in order to prevent Piccolo from succeeding in his
desire to use the Dragon Balls to take over the world.

In the movie, a chosen warrior must save mankind from enemy aliens
who have come to destroy the earth.
The warrior, a young man, must find the dragon balls which were once
created by seven mystics in a past effort to protect earth from the evil
enemies.
Dragonball: Evolution is based on the popular Japanese Manga created
by Akira Toriyama, whose work spawned best selling graphic novels, video
games and a phenomenally successful television series.
The live action adventure centres on the heroic Goku, a powerful
warrior who discovers his inner strength and protects the Earth from an
evil rogue bent on dominating the Universe and controlling the mystical
objects from which the film takes its name.
The cast comprises Justin Chatwin, Emmy Rossum, Jamie Chung, James
Marsters, Yun-Fat Chow, Randall Duk Kim, Ernie Hudson Joon Park and
others.
'Dragonball Evolution', directed by James Wong, will begin screening
at Liberty cinema from April 10. |
