STC-UNFPA in long term agreement

The Sri Lanka State Trading (General) Corporation (STC) entered into a long term agreement with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) to supply goods.

Chairman, Sri Lanka State Trading (General) Corporation Pradeep Gunawardana and representative of UNFPA Lene K. Christiansen signed the agreement recently.

Sri Lanka State Trading (General) Corporation Chairman Pradeep Gunawardana said that it is his intention to supply high quality and standardized goods at reasonable prices and was happy to enter into a long term agreement with a leading NGO such as UNFPA.

Representative of UNFPA Lene K. Christiansen said that on an earlier occasions, UNFPA demands were met by Sri Lanka State Trading (General) Corporation Chairman with provision of standard high quality goods. Therefore the UNFPA did not hesitate to enter into this long term agreement.
