Trinity College secured a good four wicket win over the Visiting
Willows Cricket Club from North Canterbury in New Zealand in limited
over cricket match played at the Asgiriya Stadium in Kandy yesterday.
The visitors after a poor start when they lost both of their openers
for 6, made good recovery through useful third wicket stand of 73
between James Richard (28) and Sam Lowson (37) before the latter was run
out.
The innings folded up thereafter against the off spin of Traveen
Ratnayake who took 4 for 27 off 9 overs.
Trinity hit off the runs required for the loss of 6 wickets.
