Colombo BC men take Super League Title

Colombo Basketball Club won the Leisure World Challenge Trophy for the third year beating Wattala Basketball Club by 74 points to 58 in the Colombo Super League 'A' Division men's final played at St. Josephs' Girls School Courts, Nugegoda on Sunday.

However the Wattala Basketball Club was leading at half time by 36 points to 28 but couldn't hold the lead in the latter part of the game.

For Colombo Basketball Club Roshan Randima who had an excellent game scored 19 points and his team-mates Harshadewa De Silva (16) and Roshan Fernando (13) gave him admirable support while Manjula Jayaratne scored 17 points for Wattala Basketball Club.
