LTTE arms recovered

Police unearthed LTTE arms and explosives buried behind a church in Vakarai on Sunday night, Police spokesman SSP Ranjith Gunasekera said.

One kg of C4 explosives, a T56 assault riffle, two T56 magazines and 273 ammunition, a MTMG gun, two hand grenades, an I-Com set, an antenna and 15m antenna wire, two AP mine fuses and a 81mm mortar charger were among the recovered items.
