Fund raiser

A Magic Show and an evening of entertainment organised by the Employees’ Friendship Association (EFA) of the Institute of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL) will be held today at 3.30 p.m. at the IESL Auditorium at 120/15, Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo 7. Padmasiri Sri Narayana will perform along with Anton Jude and Rodney Warnakula.

Proceeds of the show will go to the IESL Employees’ Friendship Association to reinforce the fund established to help Association member.


ISMM AGM and Technical Sessions

The AGM and Technical Sessions of the Institute of Supply and Materials Management will be held today at the ISMM Auditorium O.P.A Building, Prof Stanley Wijesundara Mawatha, Colombo 7 from 2.00 p.m. The AGM will commence at 5.00 p.m. Members are welcome.


New VCD

The releasing ceremony of Miracles of the Quran, a documentary VCD in Sinhala will be held on Monday March 30 at 5 p.m. at the Ahamed Deedath Auditorium, Rohini Road, Colombo 6. Justice Saleem Marsoof of the Supreme Court will be the chief guest.


Inauguration ceremony

The inauguration ceremony for the 8th intake of the Diploma in Conflict Resolution: Skills Development offered by the Bandaranaike Center for International Studies (BCIS) will be held on March 28 from 9 a.m. onwards. Rear Admiral Jayanath Colombage, Commander, Western Naval Area, Sri Lanka Navy will be the chief guest.


Musical show

Punsanda Paya - 2009 musical extravaganza organized by the Moratuwa Arts Forum will be presented at Ummula Maliha memorial hall, Keselwatta, Panadura tomorrow. Veteran singers of Moratuwa fame will add glamour to the occasion. Famous Sinhala, Western and Hindi hits will be sung.

Music: Spirit musical group led by Lucky Deva.


Cover it Please

The Drama Society of S. Thomas' College, Mount Lavinia presents a comedy 'Cover it Please' at the Lionel Wendt on March 28 and 29 at 7.30 p.m. A few tickets are available at the Lionel Wendt at Rs. 400 and Rs. 300.

The Annual General Meeting of the Agency Post Office Representatives Association will be held today at 9.30 a.m. at Hotel Topaz. Negombo. All members are welcome.
