Free cataract surgeries

The Lions of the Colombo (Host) Club have completed 1,300 free surgeries for the poorest of the poor. Their target is 2,000 surgeries.

Depending on from how far patients are coming, free overnight accommodation with basic board is provided at the Lions Dedicated Eye Surgery Hospital in Panadura.

All surgeries are done using the latest Phaco Technique in well-equipped Operating Theatres and using quality Intra-Ocular Lenses.
